Two popular succulent plants are related to the snake plant: aloe vera, and agave. The main difference between these two plants is how their leaves are shaped. All plants categorized in Class Magnoliopsida and subclass Caryophyllidae are insect-pollinated, and their seeds have two cotyledons. Perennial plants can quickly grow and mature during the summer months, then produce seeds. They produce reddish-colored flowers in short spikes. Lithops do well, as long as they have access to light. Make sure the container is kept in a dry location with plenty of light.
