The most succulent and fleshy varieties will have needle-like spinal cords. While the tougher and more leafy varieties will usually be flat, they will often have more delicate and fleshy leaves. Plants with needle-like spines and leaves are more succulent. While flat-leaved varieties tend to be stronger in nature, as they can withstand harsher environments more effectively, plants with flat leaves and spines are more durable. It is possible to identify a cactus by its shape and color, even if it does not have any spines or leaves.

"Ladyfinger Cactus", a succulent that is easy to care, can be found in the following locations: The cuttings of Ladyfinger Cactus can be propagated. The easiest way to propagate it would be from cuttings or offsets, however you can also harvest seeds from its fruit. Mammillaria.rhodantha seeds can be difficult and time-consuming to grow. A plant can be given 7 lbs of water by adding 1 tablespoon of perlite or 1 cup of water to the soil mix. These can be removed from the stem by simply cutting them off. After drying, replant in well-draining soil.

Aloe barberae (aka Aloe bainesii, Aloidendron barberae), Africa's largest aloe, is sculptural, intriguing and dramatic. Jeff explained that his former home was destroyed by a wildfire in 2008. It also damaged an Aloe barberae. While nurseries may offer rooted and boxed specimens at a price of thousands of dollars, Aloe Barbarae, like all succulents, can start from cuttings.
