However, be careful; try not to keep your succulent Kalanchoe too close to an incandescent bulb, as it creates heat that can burn the succulent leaves. Many will thrive indoors too.

The specific type of succulent you choose to propagate will have an impact on whether or not you succeed with water propagation. Some people only need the water once a months. The plant will survive if you neglect to water it for a while. However, ensure that you give this plant enough light and water when in its initial growth stages. Many death-blooming succulents such as Hens and Chicks will live for several years before they blossom, while some succulents such as the Century Plant can take decades to bloom. Your succulents will flower more quickly if you take proper care of them.

For the final touch, grab two succulent cuttings that are large enough to cover the Command Hooks at the sides. To begin, cut a 1/4 inch square from an old book. The plastic should be lined inside the square to prevent it becoming soggy. Attach the liners onto the planter with floral wire. Loop it around one of two wires, and then secure it in the interior. Fill the planter with well-draining dirt and add more plants. Once you have your succulents, cover it with the top dressing.
