Whether you're planning a specific arrangement for a wedding or looking for the perfect succulent for your favorite pot, purple succulents should definitely be on that list! You can probably get away with doing them before that, but some succulents may begin to shrivel or lose their rigidity as they try to survive by utilizing the water stored in their leaves. Avoid wetting flowers or leaves when watering.

Always use a well drained potting soil mix with good air porosity. Once the roots have emerged, place the stem in a well drained soil mixture. After the roots have emerged, you can place the leaf in a soil mixture. To multiply leaves by cutting them, use a sterilized and pachyphytum types sharp knife. You should use this method to create a clean cut from top to bottom of the succulent. For this, you will need a sharp and sterile knife or garden scissors to make a cut across the stem.

Hanging planters offer a way to maximize vertical space and add dimension to your garden. Once you have created the tunnels, pumice can be added to the soil to protect the roots. Air can't pass through roots or soil if they are damp. You should get rid of any older succulent roots that have begun to rot. This will prevent them from contaminating the water quality. Look for old soup ladles to paint. Make sure the paint is not toxic to the plants. Hanging baskets like the goldfish plant look great when planted on baskets or pots.
