Isn't this the perfect time to add some blue beauty to your succulent collection. These are just the beginning of many indoor cacti. This subspecies naturally only exists in the area of Little and Great Karoo in South Africa. These plants are delicate and can become brittle. You will see a greater improvement in plants that have red, green, or blue spines. It's likely that you have heard many times that succulents can be cared for easily and are resilient. But, what if your succulents become damaged? It is easy to transplant your succulents. But how do you know when it is time for a repot?

Cacti can be grown in one of three ways. You can either plant them in pots or as bonsai. Or you can simply put them into the ground. A palette of cuttings and nursery plants ready to go into the ground. Add some planting mix to the ground if it is difficult or impossible to dig. Mixing soil with coarse sand can create a sandy soil mix that allows for good drainage. You can also buy special succulent soil. 7. Work the soil by turning it and spading, removing roots and rocks, and adding compost and pumice.

Succulent leaves will eventually die. However, if they don't look right for you, you can take them out and trim them as needed. Make sure to use the same well draining succulent or Cactus soil as you would for a Trachyandra Plant. By the end of the guide you'll be able to identify the correct type of soil. If you are able to care for your Trachyandra Plant properly, you might be rewarded with beautiful blooms in the spring or late winter. It can be a great houseplant if it is taken care of properly. If you live in warmer areas, your Trachyandra plant may need to be watered more often.

Agave attenuata is the first succulent to show damage from frost in winter. A cooling period in winter is necessary to encourage better flowering. People from the Americas, like cacti, agaves and many sedums, do better than people from Madagascar or South Africa (kalanchoes, aeoniums and crussulas). Your Kalanchoe will thrive if it gets more sun. The damage will disappear when you are done. Most succulents will survive a short frost (less that an hour), but Agave attenuata's leaf tips can suffer damage. What about an Agave or other succulent with frost damage to its leaf tips?
