This succulent is best when it gets partial sun. They are resistant to frost but tolerate drought. The stems are about a half inch in diameter and are covered in soft, bristly white spines. The nearly spherical leaves on this plant are about the size of a pea and the trailing stems can reach two to three feet in length. The trailing stems are able to reach up two to three feet long.
