Paul in Romans will say that governments "do not use the sword in vain." (Rom.13:1-4) Well, what about Christians who are agents of individuals governments? Police officers, soldiers, and so on.? Let me be immediate, I despise condition ethics, I imagine that we can use them to find loopholes in our theology that we want as opposed to the kinds that actually exist. Read 1 Co five. Why should a congregation tolerate someone who needs to persuade persons that immoral behavior is moral?
