First, identify your succulent (genera & species). Next, do a Google search to find information from online plant databases. An ice plant is also possible, but it's easier to remember and pronounce. A strong soil structure and reduced soil erosion will benefit the ice plants as well as other succulents and nonsucculents in your garden.

Because of its bright colors, this succulent is native to South Africa. Here is a picture of my jelly bean plant that has been exposed to full sun, giving the leaves their reddish tinge. A sunburned underwater plant will also have leaves that are shriveled. You can rest assured that this won't happen to your String of Pearls and that you won't have to save it.

Succulent leaves will eventually die. However, if they don't look right for you, you can remove them or trim them as often as you want. The stems with foliage still blend in beautifully and add texture and color to the wreath. By exposing your Aloe to more or less sunlight, you can change the color of it. Instead of being restricted to specific dates or times for fairs and markets, you can sell anytime! You may have sold at local farmers markets, craft fairs or other events in the past.
