Within two to three weeks you'll see new rosettes form and you'll have a new succulent. It is very impressive to see the multiple trails of stems with perfectly spherical beads every few feet. The Burro's Tail blooms in spring and produces beautiful pink flowers at the tips of its stems. Most flowers that were grown during winter will be wilted by the end of spring or early winter. Be sure to grab the plant gently when it comes out. Place the plant gently in the new container on top the soil. The mesh will protect your soil from washing away at the bottom of your pot, but not hinder drainage.
