It all depends on how severe the damage to your succulent. While you can do it and watch how the succulent reacts, it is best to not take too much risk. How can you tell if your succulents are overwatered? You won't cause any harm to your plants if you don't water them for two or three extra days. But, if you water while the soil still has moisture, it could lead to root rot. If the root rot has progressed to the point of affecting the parts of the plant that are above soil, you'll notice the usual signs of overwatering such as mushy or discolored leaves.
