Within two to three weeks you'll see new rosettes form and you'll have a new succulent. It is very impressive to see the multiple trails of stems with perfectly spherical beads every few feet. Burro's Tail flowers in spring and produces lovely pink flowers at its tips. All flowers that were planted during winter will wilt in late winter or early spring. To catch the plant, make sure you have something to hold onto. Place the plant gently in the new container on top the soil. The mesh will help keep your soil from washing out the bottom of your pot but won't hinder drainage.
