Water propagation can be described as using water to root succulent cuttings. You should water the cuttings well enough to soak them, then let them dry before watering again. They also come with nice wooden tray that will catch any water that runs off your pots. Start them in nursery flats or small pots until they double in size, then transplant them into larger pots or the garden. One Agave americana, which we named "Big Blue", was the largest succulent to grace my half-acre garden. It had six-foot leaves and sharp teeth.
