In about two to three weeks, you will see new rosettes forming and you will have a new succulent to plant. It's quite cool to be able to see the trailing stems with perfect spherical balls every few inches. Burro's Tail flowers in spring and produces lovely pink flowers at its tips. Most flowers that were grown during winter will be wilted by the end of spring or early winter. Make sure you have someone to catch the plant as it emerges. Place your plant in its new container. The mesh will help keep your soil from washing out the bottom of your pot but won't hinder drainage.
