This succulent can produce clusters of red flowers in spring and summer. If you wish to grow more succulents each year, it is best that you remove the pups from the spring. There are many options for containers to grow your succulents. Start with something simple until you feel comfortable growing them. Then, move on to more elaborate containers. Although I recommend using a grit mix to grow succulents, I have found times when I need to use a more organic material to keep the soil dry for longer. I recommend coconut coir for organic potting medium.
