Because pumice does not decompose, you won't need it to be replaced, which can cut down on costs. Cut off any yellow tissues from the Madagascar Palm. This will not only reduce your plants' ability to grow, but can also cause the leaves to turn yellow and fall. These can also easily propagate from tiny, bean-shaped leaves. Too much humidity can cause fungal problems in succulents, which can result in your plant losing its leaves and even death.
