I pre-mix them into the potting soil to increase nutrients. The seedlings will appear on the soil's surface within a few weeks. Water it once a week. There are many brands of cactus waters on the market. However, you can still make your own using the pear fruit and common kitchen ingredients. In crowded containers or gardens, shears with large blades can make it more difficult to maneuver.
