Prepare a succulent mix that can drain well and then apply rooting hormone. No other plant can match the stunning purple color and large, inviting leaves of this plant. Many species have transparent glass-like leaves that let light through even when the plants are buried. A succulent with a well-established root system will hold the soil together tightly even when the plant is out of its pot.
