Drainage is the primary purpose of succulent soil. This does not actually make up for the lack of a drainage hole - it actually keeps water near the roots! This is especially true for succulents that don't like wet soils or a lot of water. Place your seeds on a flat surface. The full spectrum light will ensure that your plant gets enough light, regardless of where it is placed in your home or office. If it does not, you can remove the light with a sharp blade. This will prevent further stress and plant damage. The good news is that multiple pups can be produced by a mother plant.
