This succulent is ideal for hot and dry areas. Most succulents prefer a dry climate. They may not be able to tolerate the cold temperatures of the ice cubes. These succulents can be planted outdoors if you live in an area with mild climate. If your climate is not humid, you can add water by filling a small dish with gravel and placing the pot on top. Sprinkle the seeds on top of the soil after you have lightly watered it. The soil should be sandy, and contain a mixture of cactus soil potting soil and coarse soil. It is possible to not water as often if your climate is humid.
