If you notice brown spots on your succulent, even if you have it in a bright spot, it is best to move it right away into shade. In the following week, you can check to make sure your soil is dry. But, it has been so cold lately, and my poor succulents are freezing. If the winters in your area tend to be cold and rainy rather than cold and snowy, you may want to put your succulents under a covered porch or the overhang of your roof.
