Use well-draining soil for the new succulent plant. Overwatering, poor soil drainage, or planting in a dense or small pot can lead to powdery mildew or root rot. If you did not allow the cutting to become callus, it would still grow. Sterilizing is essential to prevent the spread of diseases and harmful substances. Root rot, which is caused mainly by overwatering, and scab disease are the two main diseases. To prevent root rot, you can add gravel layers above and below your potting mixture. These drought-resistant plants bring life and color to otherwise barren desert terrain.

Euphorbia Polygona is also well-known for its common name, "Snowflake." This is a spiny succulent with basally clustering. Slugs or snails are two of the most common pests to this plant. If these pests are allowed grow and feed, they could eventually reach the number needed to kill your Star Cactus. Euphorbia Ammak can be toxic so keep it out of reach of children and pets. At the opposite end of the spectrum are succulents which can reach amazing sizes. A diluted solution of isopropyl alcohol can be used to quickly remove mold. A succulent can be planted in both large and small containers.

The succulent is not sensitive to poor soils or neglect. Attempting to propagate an ailing succulent losing bottom leaves will probably result in failure or an extremely long recovery process. You can use the same cutting method that we've used a million times to remove the mother plant.
