Sudden sunlight can cause sunburn in succulent leaves. Your Variegated String of Hearts can die if they are exposed to too much sunlight. Planting Depth: String of pearls have shallow roots that grow outwards rather than inwardly. The best way to ensure drainage is to make sure the container has enough drainage holes. Your Sempervivum should receive plenty of direct sun. It will look vibrant and healthy. It is important to remember that spraying your air plants with water occasionally can't be used alone. There are better ways. It should be combined with other watering methods.

The soil will tell if it needs water again and the succulent leaves can indicate if you have been over- or underwatering your plant. Provide the right soil to your Crested Ephorbia. The brown spots appear more like rust and can cause plant growth problems if not addressed early.
