There are many over-the-counter remedies that can be used to treat succulent diseases. If you don't do this, your plant might drown or develop root disease which can be very difficult to treat. Sempervivum has very little root system. When the root system has become more established, watering can be reduced to once per week. If your succulent soil seems too dry, you can stop watering it for a week. Salt in the soil blocks water from reaching the plants.
