A succulent nursery may have Crassula seed stock. While mother nature might provide water during winter, you will need to water the plants frequently in hotter months. Once established, the succulents can tolerate drought and only require minimal attention. Overwatering does not refer to how much water you give your succulents. Instead, it is about how frequently they are watered. A major difference between water roots and soil roots is that you are directly placing the succulents into the soil and watering them when needed as opposed to the water roots, which are constantly in water. Many people mistakenly believe that succulents and cacti need very little water because they are so drought-tolerant.

The most common reason that gardeners struggle to keep their mesembs alive is due to their unique water needs. It is known to be an "adaptogen," or what biologists call a substance that reduces inflammation and promotes calmness throughout the respiratory and immune systems.

You can do this by keeping your watering rate steady and giving fertilizer to the plant. It can be grown with very little attention in either full sun or shade. To prevent the soil from drying out, it is important to water the plant regularly. If you're planting it outside, ensure that it gets enough sun. Highly prized due to their rosette presentation that resembles an artichoke, Parry's Agave has delightful gray-blue leaves with maroon-colored tips, making this succulent a striking addition to your outdoor garden. Agave is a great option for diabetics who need to keep blood sugar under control while still enjoying some treats. The frequency at which they bloom is one of the main differences between Yucca & Agave. This was one of my favorite parts. There are many options for colors and shapes, so you can be sure to find the right one to complement your colder climate garden. Aloe plants will only bloom when they sense their ideal growing conditions. They also thrive in an indigenous garden. The plant may die if it receives too much sunlight or too little light.

Aloe can survive for more than 200 years. Dudleyas are unable to reproduce this layer, and any contact with the plant can cause severe injury.
