The "New Rules" of Fitness
It's well known what Fitness means perfect? Fitness is going to be Cut aka being Defined, aka Getting fit aka Getting Shredded aka Getting Jacked aka Getting Ripped (not in a drunken sense).
Fitness
Fitness, as a thing that we have to strive for physically to improve our visual appearance, and by virtue the internal tasks of ours and overall health, is a relatively recent concept. Here in the United States, circa the 17th 19th centuries, the country of ours was an agricultural country, with the great bulk of its residents required in farming. Most everyone worked hard on the farms, and so most individuals were in shape or fit in some way or another.
The relatively recent societal technical innovations have served to help make us a society wherein comfort as well as expedience stands out as the norm; the rapid improvements and rise of technology also have led to an explosion of public migrations from the agricultural heart lands to our towns, changing them and triggering a consequent rise most of what we realize of today like concentration of humanity and wealth in centralized hubs of industry and wealth and in impact, office tasks just where we sit close to all the morning staring at a computer monitor (and smartphone/tablet screens). This has lead to more and more of our citizens starting to be a lot less fit, due in huge part to the sedentary nature of the jobs of ours and our home lives.
As a result, we today have a vast majority of the citizenry of ours that is out of shape and not at all match by any person's definition. As a result of this, a necessity for an industry to meet the requirements of our out of shape and fat people was created and will continue to adjust as well as flourish. This is obviously out of necessity - the population of ours is aging, the children of ours are more and more out of shape, and the parents of theirs are obese.
Currently, when we see a person who's in fit or shape, we marvel at them, primarily since they're far more the exception than the rule. As you can see, the idea which every person begins fit and in top condition, as might have been the case no less than a century ago, is contrary to the majority that's today.
Old Rules of Fitness The old "modern" rules of ours of fitness would've you merely consume less food along with exercise to attain a semblance of fitness, or at the very least a modicum of best weight loss pills for men (try here) loss. The mantra would be to eat 3-5 meals each day, workout at least 1-2 hours per day, performing 3 sets of 12-15 repetitions at some kind of weight for individual muscle groups. Quite formulaic, generic, and inefficient. The existing rules weren't bad - they only were way too generalized and accomplished only the basics. They were decent guidelines to create a foundational awareness of exercise and offered a super easy glimpse as to the task it takes to attain a specific standard of fitness. Not a bad start - That was then.

There is significantly less focus on "general standards" for sets and repetitions along with a much better focus on intensity and duration, in addition to the incorporation of several powerful modes of physical exercise like plyometrics, yoga, pilates, resistance training, dancing, along with other aerobic as well as anaerobic modes that can be used & blended to market maximum muscular recruitment in effect leading to much more energy to be utilized in a more compact time frame. This's a far more effective and efficient way of getting things done. Indeed we are in a golden era of creation and achievement as it pertains to creation and adaption of exercise systems for fitness. Everybody who's embracing this movement should be applauded.
Today is an era where P90x, Insanity, and various other similar kind of health and fitness approaches have been attempted as well as welcomed on a major scale. Precisely why is this? There really isn't just one simple reason - it's as they are dynamic, fun, and most of all these approaches produce outcomes - and not basically standard results, regular, efficient results.
