Digestive Health: How Does Your Bowel Health Affect The Relationships of yours With Family?
In the beginning this will likely look like a stretch...connecting your bowel health to your loved ones...but listen to me out there. I have seen first hand how the internal wellbeing of the bowel of yours may seriously impact the relationship of yours with all the loved ones in your life - family, significant others and friends. Not everybody shares these same issues, but this article comes from my personal experience of the hopes to persuade us all to become much more compassionate and understanding of all the individual needs of ours.
The initial way in which your bowel can affect the relationships of yours with loved ones...mood. Your break down of food is the 1st line of yours of defense against mood swings. Now, it's well known that processed sugar, for instance, can have a serious impact on your emotions and moods. Sugar generates a pendulum-like swing between emotional highs and lows that will come with side-kicks such as depression and hyperactivity. If your digestive system is compromised by illness, like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), dis-ease, such as Ulcerative Colitis (UC) or maybe Chrone's, or the standard American Diet, aptly dubbed SAD, you then could be mood swinging like Tarzan with the jungle. This could create havoc on any kind of relationship, but may have catastrophic outcomes on those you live with since they will be witness to ALL mood swings.
Regrettably, not every person is able to stay up with the Tarzan-esque mood swinging, and therefore brush off the down swings of yours as irritability. or hormones (When you incorporate these mood swings with PMS and a bad mood...WATCH OUT!) This is exactly where communication is key. If you are blessed enough to have an open line of interaction with your loved ones and they are willing to go over the needs of yours, be grateful! Not every person has that ability to publicly discuss such concerns, that be sure to express the gratitude of yours for your supportive environment. Still, the conversation is usually an emotional one. First, the issue can make you feel that something is wrong with you. You are not broken as well as don't need to be fixed; all that may be needed is a bit of TLC and understanding with the purpose to take the stress from the situation.
