The best time to take cuttings from your existing ice plant is during the relatively warmer months. It is also a good idea to obtain cuttings from healthy looking plants with plump leaves, not dehydrated ones or stressed plants. Low light conditions make the fleshy leaves appear translucent, similar to dolphins. Low-light conditions can also cause succulents to lose their vibrant colors if they are not exposed to enough light. Most cases, it is sufficient to place the succulent in a window that has a lot light. PVN can be grown in any light source, from indirect to full sunlight.
