With a little basic succulent care knowledge, your indoor succulent garden will be flourishing before you know it. You won't be able to keep up with the number of chicks they produce. As soon as the temperatures exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit, hens or chicks will begin to get tighter. The hens, chicks, and other animals will take off if they are fertilized in April. These plants are classified as warmer temperatures. I wanted to highlight some genera of succulents and show why this makes sense for each particular category.
It's a succulent that can withstand the harsh Utah winters. Lithops are not able to take in a lot of fertilizer. However you can give them a little every couple months to help them grow strong and healthy. When fall arrives, with it's cooler temperatures, they'll open up a little more. Each succulent can tolerate different temperatures so do your research to determine when you should bring your succulent inside for winter. If temperatures fall below 40 degrees Fahrenheit, growth will slow down. Get your equipment together before starting. This list can serve as a guide. Succulents do enjoy plenty of sunlight, but too much of a good thing can be harmful. Although succulents are great hanging plants, most don't have the ability to trail. It is best grow light strips to cut the succulents carefully and then plant them in their own containers. Adjust Water For Pots - If your string of pearls is potted in a container with drainage, soak the soil until you see water emerge. Learning how succulents need water is a proud accomplishment. As mentioned above, make sure you limit the amount of water these plants receive as they can easily rot while dormant.
