Every succulent is unique. Your succulent or cactus should be removed immediately if your stem becomes brittle or benty. It is striking with its flat, glochid-covered pads. This is a fancy name for the white prickles that you can see on its surface. It lacks spines unlike most cacti. Instead of them, there are clusters hairs on the surface of its pads. You can cover all your succulents and other cacti easily with a growlight, even if you only have small numbers. Mammilaria hahniana has been known as the "old lady cactus" because of the white hair that covers the entire plant. They are either pink, gray or reddish in color and have woolly hair.
