Just leave the succulent out of soil, in a warm, dry area. For 14 years I have followed the development of this amazing garden, and met Jim & Scott when I covered it in San Diego Home/Garden magazine ("Steep Solution: Mission Hills homeowners build a magnificent garden" June 2006.
