They're nearly a full-grown succulent, so all they need to do is be planted and watered. Then they will start to grow roots. Keep the roots of your new plants covered with soil. If they start to grow, your plants may stop growing. This Kalanchoe's red and green leaves are smoothed and grow up and down on thin stems. Kalanchoe longiflora ccinea "Tugela Cliff kalanchoe" grows well in rock gardens and container gardens. Most likely I will just chuck the plant out and maybe save a stem cutting or two to propagate. Once you've taken your cutting or leaf, it's important to let it dry out a little bit before you do anything else. While succulents are more easy to propagate that many other plants, it was a challenge to me to get them to thrive in my dry Utah climate.
Fungus gnat larvae can't live for more than a couple days without moisture in the soil, so letting your succulents dry out a bit is usually enough to put an end to an entire group of gnats. If you notice yellowing, brown spots or other signs of serious illness, it could be an indication that your plant is suffering from a serious condition. Your plant may be affected by pests that can cause severe nutrient deficiencies, which will accelerate the yellowing. We want to save your plant and make it look healthy again. Root rot symptoms include discolored roots. You might be able still to save your plant if just a part of its root system has been affected. Proper lighting is one of your biggest concerns when it comes to keeping succulents inside. Depending on the heat and the sun, you may want to let the leaf/cut rest for up to three to four days to allow it to heal. However, it is important to not give them too much water as this can cause them to become orangey-brown and eventually die.
You can paint the drawers any color that you wish and your plants will grow in it. Some plants won't be as productive as their sibling, and others will produce more roots than their siblings. Excessive sun exposure or excessive heat can lead to sunburn in summer. Seed sowing is not an option if you don't have leaf offsets or cuttings. Don't be discouraged if some of your leaves or cuttings die. I lost more than half my first batch. It is an attractive choice for cactus garden because of its beautiful blooms. Don't overwater the plant to prevent it from embarking on rotting, which may discourage blooming. Luckily, most causes relate to plant care.
