Your succulent's lower leaves will eventually dry out and become dead. The type of water you use for your Kalanchoe determines how well and healthy your plant will be. You might be the type of gardener who prefers slow-release fertilizer pellets over liquid plant food. Dracaenas don't require any fertilization. They can spread diseases and rot to other plants. This can take away from their vibrant colors, affecting their aesthetic appeal, and may even encourage pests or diseases to grow. Haworthia.turgida doesn't like being cold-hardy so if it gets below 30°F (-1.1°C), you should plant it in a container which can be brought indoors. You can help your succulent to grow best by removing the leaves from time-to-time. For this method, you will need to clean special gardening sheers and remove one leaf from the parent plant.

You want to make sure that your scissors and shears are clean before you begin pruning. This will prevent your succulents getting a disease.
