Sedum, an Oregon-native succulent, can be seen at the lower right. Below: Becky created a wreath that surrounded a large Sempervivum Rosetee with smaller sedums such as Delosperma cooperi (lower left) or Sedum Confusum (lower right). It is not difficult to learn string of pearls care techniques. This includes sun exposure and watering. This is one of the best aspects of these plants. They do not require much care to thrive. Blue Spruce Stonecrop's cold hardiness means it can survive outside temperatures as low at -30 degrees F (-34.4 degrees Celsius). Becky's compositions are able to overwinter outside in northern climates (Zones 4-8) if the potting medium drains well. The sun's ultraviolet rays can cause leaf damage if magnified through untreated windows.

However, pumice can be a bit more difficult to find, depending on where you live, and it can be more expensive than perlite. Salvaging moon-cactus with root rot will depend on its condition and severity. You are the only one who can tell the difference between large and small succulents arrangements. This succulent is very dear to me, because it survives the harsh Utah winters. What do succulents requires from the soil? If need be, remove 1/4 to 1/2 inch of soil from top or bottom so root ball stays below the rim. These shoots will help the plant spread further and take root. Like other succulents, the Elephant Bush is susceptible to root rot if overwatered. She stresses the importance of drainage. This is true for all succulents and especially those that live in rainy areas. Haworthias can be particularly vulnerable as they are shade succulents. It should be planted in full sun to partial shade.
