BUT there are always those pets that deviate from the norm and these are the ones you'll find taking a nibble here and there or even feast on your succulent plants. There are more than 200 types of flytraps, but only three species that are native to North America - Dionaea muscipula, Dionaea vernalis, and Dionaea ampullaria. It can be more difficult than you think to remove a fungus. Eventually, the center of the rosette will grow into a tall plant stem that can get to be a few inches to a foot tall. I made this a few years ago. Because there were not many colorful succulents, I wired red and blue tillandsias onto stems for filler. Then I added dried floral material. You should choose at most 35-40 succulents for the frame 11x14. As they can be stressed by direct light, keep your cuttings away from direct sunlight. To keep the flowers fresh, i used marbles and filled the vase with water. These flowers are usually found in small groups on older plants. These are attractive plants that grow in small shrubs and have hairy green leaves with silvery white fuzz and red tips.
