Succulent fertilizer does not have to be applied. It will only help the plant grow. If you do it in a timely manner, your succulent will forget about it and continue growing. When your succulent is healthy, you will see offsets grow from the parent. During this time, the plant only focuses on recovering from the stress of the growing season and preparing for the next flowering season. Overwatering is a major reason your snake plants will die. You should take care not to expose Christmas cactus that shoots needles plants to extreme cold or frost. Echeveria elegans (and a few other species) are not able to grow in cold climates. If you take good care of your Sempervivum plant, you will get many offsets every year. How can you care for it so that the stunning flowers bloom? Some plants don't bloom, but others are still stunning in their own way. It is not the right time to get a new, adorable pot that doesn't have drainage holes. To water our cacti we use the "soak-and-dry" method. We pour water on the soil until the drainage hole is full.
You can then water them using the same soak and dry method you use with mature specimens. Once you've checked the water levels, wrap the container in plastic. This can be done by adding water to the container and fertilizing it with fertilizer. If your succulents live indoors, you can adjust the watering schedule accordingly.
