Crassula mesembryanthemoides does not like cold so it is best to bring this succulent indoors. Crassula ovata is not cold hardy, so if you live in a zone that gets colder than 20deg F (-6.7deg C), it's best to plant this succulent in a container that can be brought indoors. Aloe nobilis, "Gold-Tooth Aloe", is not cold-hardy. If you live in a region that experiences below 20deg F (-6.7deg Celsius), it's best for this succulent to be kept indoors. Fill the container with enough water to cover several inches of the leaf. 3. To keep out the sun, place the cut leaf in a small container with growth medium. Cover it with plastic. You can also propagate many succulents by using leaf cuttings. To propagate "Silver Dollar Jade" from leaves, twist a leaf from the mother plant. Turn a leaf from Crassulaovata to make Crassula. Crassula Ovata makes a wonderful succulent for bonsai. "Money Tree" is deer resistant, making it a great addition to your garden. Crassula ovalta "Money Tree," can be propagated using stem cuttings or from leaves. However, stem cuttings may prove to be more successful. If you live in extreme heat, this species will thrive in full sun. However, it might need afternoon shade in the hottest parts of the day. Gold-Tooth Aloe can have orange-colored leaves when exposed to sun too much or stressed. Aloe Perfoliata. While they may look very similar, the "Gold-Tooth Aloe," although it is smaller and lighter in color, is much more delicate. The leaves can range from a greenish-gray to a blue-gray depending on how much light they receive.
