Euphorbia polygona ('Snowflake") is a spiny succulent that produces a thin mat of up to 8 inches (20cm) of segmented, simple- or basally clumping, chalky, white stems. Euphorbia longituberculosa can be described as a succulent with a thick taproot, which merges into a swollen stem, sometimes smooth, but usually tuberculate. Euphorbia neohumbertii, on the other hand, is a succulent with tall, 4-sided stems that are erect and large green leaves that grow at the top.
