Corpuscularia lehmannii 'Ice Plant' has the same watering requirements as a succulent. "Cocoon Plant", in Afrikaans, is known as "Tontelbos", and it means "tinderbush". Cocoon Plant does not survive cold, so it is best to keep this succulent indoors. "Cocoon Plant's" leaves are very good for propagation. Corpuscularia lehmannii - "Ice Plant" is synonymous to Delosperma lehmannii. Mesembryanthemum lehmannii and Schonlandia lehmannii. Corpuscularia lehmannii is an excellent "Ice Plant" that can be grown in containers, rock gardens and hanging baskets. Corpuscularia lehmannii 'Ice Plant' can be grown from stem cuttings as well as seeds. However stem cuttings are more likely to succeed. To propagate from seeds, sow the seeds in a well-draining soil. Haworthia retusa "Star Cactus" is a great addition to rock gardens or windowsills. Haworthia retusa "Star Cactus" will produce small offsets, sprouting up around the base of the plant.
