For a series of video adventures about succulents, Annie Schreck (on-air host, researcher at Mountain Crest Gardens) will be joining me. Mountain Crest Gardens nursery, with which I'm proudly affiliated, is the largest mail-order succulent supplier. Aloe barberae (also known as Aloe bainesii and Aloidendron barberae), Africa’s largest aloe vera is stunning, dramatic, and sculptural. Jeff explained to Jeff that when a wildfire ravaged his house in 2008, it also destroyed a large Aloe barberae. While nurseries may sell root-packed, boxed specimens worth thousands of dollars for their clients, Aloe Barbarae grows easily from cuttings. I suspect you may be, too, when you browse the eye-candy below. Your succulent roots may become dry and brittle over time. Trunks and bases get massive over time, so don't plant close to buildings, pipes or pools. It may be fine if your plant has had only a few days of too much sunlight. It might make sense to remove a portion of your Christmas Cactus that is already quite small. This plant can only be propagated from leaves if the entire leaf has been removed.

Let's take a moment to discuss overwatered succulent solutions. Jeff plants his cuttings or trincheons right away. Some people prefer to let the cuttings or trincheons dry for several days, and then plant them in coarse sand (such decomposed granite). After that, you can dip some cotton swabs with 70% isopropyl alcohol and apply it to the pests. Insecticide soap products paralyze the pests once they reach the area where it has been applied. As you can see, the second method was used to lay the stems on the soil. Sedum burrito, a native to Southern Mexico, is well-known for its long, hanging stems that are covered in dense, plump, blue-green, or lime-green leaves. You can also opt for stems with roots.

If you have room in your garden and your climate is mild with a maritime influence, consider adding a tree aloe or two. And yes, he'll whack off a tree aloe limb for you. Sometimes earth-moving equipment might be required. It is important to have plenty of sun. Light This is the ideal range for your grow light, and should be as intense as the native environment.
