What should you do if your cat accidentally ingests a poisonous succulent? Its requirements are similar to those of a succulent wreath: bright but not intense light (rotate occasionally for even exposure), weekly watering (from the top, to evenly moisten the moss), and pinching back if cuttings get leggy. Showers are nice and all, but not super helpful to succulents. It sounds a little weird, but trust us-it's super tasty and has health benefits too! Resist the temptation to decorate the little tree with vivid ornaments, thereby making it all about them and not about the succulents. Jim used succulent euphorbias in his herbicide application to control invasive grasses years ago. Jim himself made most of these containers after he retired from Kaiser's South Bay Medical Center in internal medicine. They are just as susceptible to decay and weathering as organic materials. Wooden planters may not be the best option. This succulent can be toxic if eaten. Therefore, hanging containers or planters are strongly recommended. The succulent will spread, which will make the area look even better. Choose an area with full sun to partial shade, where your succulent can receive a minimum of 6 hours of direct sunlight per day. It is possible to rub alcohol or isopropyl alcohol directly on pests in your succulents. An eclectic mix of small succulents includes echeverias, aloes, kalanchoes, sedums, crassulas and barrel cactus.

Jim makes growing 20-foot tree-aloes, airy epidendrums, or sofa-sized deuterochonias, (a spiky, colony forming bromeliad), look easy. But, like any avid biophile he's made many mistakes. They're easy to keep and can be a great addition to any succulent gardening. The breathable nature ensures your hands are cool and sweat-free even on the hottest summer days. 2.
