The temperature of forty-degrees Fahrenheit is dangerous for succulent plans. At that temperature, their colors will change and they will develop frost and/or rot. Soaking the plant in the evening soaks the leaves in freezing water for long, and it causes root rot. No fuzzy succulents types need high humidity or a lot in the winter. Many succulents will survive a quick frost, which lasts less than an hour. However, Agave Attenuata leaves can show signs of damage as soon as they are exposed to the cold.
