There are pets who will eat anything, even succulents. There are more than 200 species of flytraps. But only three species are native North American - Dionaea magnalis, Dionaea muscipula and Dionaea ampullaria. It's more difficult than people think to eradicate a fungus. The center will eventually grow into an extremely tall stem which can be up to a foot in length. I made this a few years ago. We had very few colors of succulents so I wired red, silver and white tillandsias onto the stems. Also included dried floral materials.
