All you need is to get familiar with string of pearls caring techniques, including sun exposure and watering. This is one of the best aspects of these plants. They do not require much care to thrive. After draining, allow the soil to dry completely before you place it. If roots can be seen through the drain hole it is time to repot. Adromischus cannot withstand temperatures below 20°F (-6.7°C). If you live in a region that is colder than that, it's best not to plant the succulent in a container that can bring indoors. Aloe, which can grow upright, works well in tall containers. It is active, and it produces flowers faster in the spring and early summer. She grows the plants where she lives in Turner, Oregon, near the Washington border. No matter whether your kalanchoe is indoors or out, you should topdress it. Blue Spruce Stonecrop can survive in cold temperatures and will thrive outdoors at temperatures as low as -30F (-34.4°C). Becky's compositions can be overwintered outdoors in cold climates (Zones 4, 8, and 8) provided the potting media drains well. If untreated window glasses are not used, ultraviolet rays from the sun can be magnified and cause leaves to burn.

However, pumice can be a bit more difficult to find, depending on where you live, and it can be more expensive than perlite. Shade succulents like Haworthias are particularly at risk. It should only be planted in areas that receive full sun or partial shade.
