An example of my personal favorite at home "workouts" doesn't look too much like a workout. It definitely gets your heart rate up, It is challenging to go on, and it is FUN! (Yes, I said FUN! It can be like being a kid again.) You can do it with a standard jump rope or a weighted jump rope.
Having seen what the machines is, I am certain you are able to imagine that it's a jump rope workout!

I used to play basketball and the coach of mine wanted me to increase my vertical jump and jumping rope was the best way he told me to concentrate on it. It absolutely helps since it really works your leg muscles so much. (See below the workout for an additional bonus that will really help you feeling the burn!)

The fundamental Jump Rope Workout:

Just for fun, you can toss in a set of 20 squats between each cycle. This can truly get your muscles burning! That's how you know it is working, so keep at it!
