Type 2 Diabetes - Signs You've Low Blood Sugar
Low blood glucose is usually extremely dangerous. One of the major causes is you may not be aware your blood sugar levels are dropping until they're already too low. Below are signs that can let you know it is time to do something to prevent the blood sugar levels of yours from dropping some further...
Your autonomic nervous system controls sweating and this's among the earliest symptoms to show up if the blood glucose drops of yours. You'll start perspiring, regardless of the present room temperature.
hunger or Feeling like you're starving, even if you have just recently eaten a meal? This indicates you want additional sugar, preferably from food that is full of carbohydrates, e.g. fruit juice, soft drink or even raisins. It is best to keep snacks along to ensure you can give yourself that quick lift.

Feeling light headed or dizzy can be another sign. You are able to also lose consciousness when these symptoms continue.
The anxiety levels of yours may improve. This's caused when your adrenal glands release epinephrine (also also known as adrenaline), which tells your liver to generate additional sugar. This causes an "adrenaline rush" that can cause tension and overwhelms you.
You might encounter double or blurry vision. If perhaps you observe this, stop whatever you are doing and rest. Eat some carbs to bring the levels of yours back up once more. When you do that, it should quickly settle. Close the eyes of yours if it's extremely difficult to deal with but ensure that you're sitting or lying down to avoid falling.

Catecholamines are released and these chemical substances raise the production of glucose and cause these symptoms.
