5 Components of Physical Fitness
While the specific description of physical fitness can be a bit complex or unclear and the definition of physical fitness can vary, most government health agencies and workout scientists agree that there are five components of physical fitness relevant to health. These components present a rather accurate representation of how healthy and fit the body is just as a whole (total or overall fitness). The 5 parts are aerobic health (also referred to as cardio-respiratory endurance or aerobic endurance), muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and body make up.
Let us take a closer look at these components separately.
1.) Cardiovascular fitness (or cardio respiratory endurance or cardiovascular endurance)
Of the 5 components, cardiovascular conditioning is the cornerstone which creates the pathway to improving the other fitness levels of yours.

A common test of cardiovascular fitness usually involves some kind of sustained running. But common examples of physical activities which relate to cardiovascular health are jogging, cycling, swimming, brisk or speed hiking as well as any sort of aerobic exercises. Aerobic exercise may be the most effective way to improve cardiovascular fitness.
