"Take the blue pill...take the white pill...?"... remember the series?
These're the original words uttered... the movie series is taken from The Matrix (1999). The context of the statement is the fact that "Neo" (Keanu Reeves) is living in a planet of controlled perception. Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne), the captain of the "movement" in the film, is leading younger Neo through a wild ride of "reality" vs. belief. Similar to the film it's the work of mine, as a personal trainer, to guide people with a journey in perception.
Even in "real-life" it appears as if we, as depicted in this film, only assume that taking a tablet can give us all of the solutions to the desires of ours. The question of mine to help you is..."Do you think all your problems could be fixed by capturing a pill?" Do you truly think that answers are available from pills or perhaps do you feel that answers are derived from personal responsibility? I guess the actual concern is..."Do you have confidence in "cure" or prevention?
Besides the quirky movie comparison... What's your perspective as associated with health and fitness, fitness, and better living? Does better living originated from much better pharmacology? Sure...I estimate millions of lives are saved from disease, genetic failures, along with illness. Do we accept responsibility for the conduct of ours that contributes directly to health which is bad and fitness? Are most risk factors for illness lifestyle induced? Even when the hottest fat reduction pill did work - Is it going to work life-long? What exactly are the risks related to a lot of the newest weightloss pills? Virtually any pill we take has a "side effect" attached to the use of its in individuals which are many. It seems people are ready to pay essentially anything to get their hands on the newest diet pill, or maybe weight loss gimmick in existence. Worse - prescription medicines are passed out like candy to a large number of a huge number of obese folks. As we all know a number of these medications have confirmed to be quite risky, even deadly.
