Alternate Fat burning Exercises to the Useless Treadmill

1. Shuttle operates - traditionally, a runner starts at the middle of 3 markers, each one twenty yards clear of another (the outer 2 markers are 40 years apart). The runner sprints to the right until he arrives at the marker, stops, and turns to run the complete 40 yards to the opposite marker. The runner then simply stops, turns around & sprints directlyto the center marker where he soon began.
2. Short sprints - Sprint for 8 seconds and then recover with a gentle jog for twelve secs. Repeat these periods for twenty minutes.
3. Stair running - A terrific way to get your heart rate up and 1 of the favorites of mine! Try running up a flight of stairs at home and at a local park. Recover by jogging back down. Also try skipping measures while running up them along with stair hopping.
