To be a Fitness and Health Professional, it's my duty to understand terms and definitions which are commonplace to this particular industry, also to keep abreast of evolving trends. Through my experience, I have found that a number of terms deserve a bit more clarification than that which they're granted.
Aside from clarifying the meaning of Health Related Fitness, this article intends to shed a bit of light on a few of the connected terms, and also showing their respective distinctions.
Could it be simply all in a title?
The fitness community seems to make use of the concept Health Related Fitness such as a generic health principle - interchangeable with other people including "Physical Fitness", "health as well as Fitness" or just "Fitness."
While all of these terms are usually incorporated under the wide term Health and Physical fitness, they separately relate to various aspects - both specific and generic. Unfortunately, references to these and other fitness related terms are often vague, while consistency in their intended use is meager at best; there's a form of "generally accepted" use for them, but men and women often rely on own interpretation, exipure dosage (great post to read) and this may result in misunderstandings.
With that said, does Health Related Fitness simply infer health using health and well being? Less than. That's precisely why we have to know a little far more behind these words before digesting the definition.
How did the word Health Related Health and fitness are available over?
That's a good question. One could almost certainly question what's the principle all about - can we not only use the terms "Fitness" or perhaps "Physical Fitness" instead?" Why Health "Related"?
