How In order to Prevent Your Property Being a Cannabis Factory
You find out about all of the time in the paper. What you don't generally read about is the very poor landlord, who's got a massive repair bill from all the damage caused by such illegal activities.
You're talking a huge number of pounds. Big MONEY.
That is right - if somebody will put in place a cannabis factory in your rented property, it has a fair bit of effort on their part. Just like you, they want the best return on their property investment!
This is starting to be a very common problem, illegal gains from this particular type of thing can run into a large number of 1000 of pounds per property. However don't care there are some relatively straight forward things you can do to help you protect against this if you are likely to rent a property out.
1. Don't accept the 1st individual that comes along with a wad of cash
2. Ensure everyone completes a comprehensive application form. Should you have not got one, just ask me. Consider doing a CRB check
3. Soon after the person moves in arrange to check out the property. Most ROOMS!
4. If suspicious speak to the neighbours and see what task there continues to be in the property
Remember the landlord insurance of yours might not cover you against this kind of thing. And anyway you don't wish your premium going up.
